Conversations with a Nine year old

Gabe:  (with dawning comprehension and excitement)  Mom!  Mom! Guess what?

Mom:  What!?

Gabe:  You know how you were gone, out of town?

Mom:  Yes?

Gabe:  Well Dad only had one meltdown the whole time and that's like a record for him!!

(I'd like to publicly congratulate Pat on only having one tantrum for the whole 2.5 days of my absence.  Good job Babe!!)
