Ah to be 2 years old again!
Last week we had some beautiful weather along the Wasatch Front. Several days reached near seventy and my boys were in heaven! If they were awake, they were outside or trying to get there.
Last Friday they were full of it and I needed to just rest. Ashley to the rescue! She came and got the twins and took them for a walk with Buster the dog. When they returned, they "helped" Ash give the dog a bath. Within minutes they decided that they too, needed a scrubbin' so off came the clothes and into the tub they went. As it was kind of an impromptu thing, Ash had no change of clothes. No problem! It was 70 degrees that day-- who needs jammies, especially when home is just across the street.
And so I hear a little knock on the door and open it to this:
Shoes are all you really need on a nice day right? And the Crocs are perfect because they are water proof. Why does this matter, you ask? Well- when you gotta go you gotta go, even if your knocking on your front door. Luckily I had not yet opened the door so Josh only christened the door and the door jam:
Getting them in the door was a special challenge. I think they quite liked running around being one with nature, the wind blowing gently through all their parts. And now that they have a taste, I think they may just go the nudist route for the rest of the summer. So don't be surprised if you see them running down the sidewalk sans clothes this summer. As long as we've broken the habit by the time they're 9 or 10, we should be OK, right?
